    Can a jumper wire be used from battery terminal to solenoid terminal for 1wire use, and does it fit 164 tooth flexplate?

    You can wire it that way by using a relay like this - http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/10308/10002/-1 Yes this should fit the 164 tooth flexplate.
