CHC11A - Cold Case Aluminum Replacement Radiators for GM Cars & Trucks is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Radiator My 67 Firebird 400 factory 3 core radiator would not cool, it ran 190-210 deg. regardless of what I did. Installed this Cold-Case and problems solved. This CHC11A has 42 rows of two 1 inch cores. The stock 3 core had 27 rows with 3 - 1/2 cores. That's 15 more rows with more cooling capacity. The Firebird now runs 165 on the road, and 170-185 in traffic with a 160 degree thermostat, non thermal clutch fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good radiator This replaced a radiator in my sbc 1967 Camaro. Please be advised after having two sessions of overheating with this radiator, I found someone, prior to delivery to me, had push a cap inside causing my problem. After much time looking for the problem that is what I found.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than a 4 core brass radiator In our 1969 Firebird with 469 engine and a 355 gear we had overheating problems at 70 miles per hour and above. We documented engine temperatures at 230 degrees on a hundred degree day. After replacing the Factory 4 core brass radiator with this aluminum radiator we ran the same road and outside temperatures and the engine only ran 185F. This has eliminated our overheating problem and we could not be happier. Installation was simple and direct, if it was perfect, performance exceeded our expectations. When you tried it all put this Radiator in and relax.

will a normal radiator shrowed and fan cover work with this radiator

    Asked by: joe396
CHC11A is a Firebird and Big Block Camaro radiator. You didn't state which you have, so yes, if you are using a Big Block shroud in the Camaro and yes if you have a 67-69 Firebird. If you have a small block Camaro use part number CHC549A and the small block shroud.
