    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the RPM heads on a 428 Got this Intake Manifold in Polished finish for a recent refresh rebuild of my 1966 FE 428. Mated perfectly with the Edlebrock RPM heads. One thing to be aware of, this intake does not have a provision for an oil fill tube. Thus, you have to have oil fills in your valve covers. However, my machine shop was able to install an oil fill tube in the rear passenger side and it works perfectly. This is a really fine product. Shipment from Jegs was very prompt. Other suppliers wanted 2+ weeks... I received it in 2 days.... I have included a photo of the engine in my ERA Cobra. You can see the filler tube in the rear....

    Items You Need

    Note:To insure proper manifold to cylinder head sealing, Edelbrock recommends using an embossed intake gasket like Fel-Pro's Printoseal or Mr.Gasket's Ultra Seal. Fel-Pro's Perma Torque Blue and other similar gaskets do not compress well when used with an aluminum intake manifold and may cause vacuum leaks.
