    Ford Passenger Car Standard Shock Configuration

    Note:

    • For applications with both Shocks behind the Rear Axle Housing
    • This kit Requires a disc/disc proportioning valve. JEGS recommends 555-63025.
    • JEGS recommends a 1.125 in. large bore master cylinder like 555-631403 when adding disc brakes. 
    • Fits Small bearing 9 in. (3.375 in. x 2 in.), Early Big bearing 9 in. (3.556 in. x 2.375 in.) and Late Big bearing 9 in. (3.557 in. x 2 in.)
    • Do not fit with 14 in. rims. 
    • Maximum axle flange diameter of 6.11 in. with 2.786 in. max register to fit rotor hat.

Available for standard (for coil springs with both shocks behind rear axle) or staggered (for leaf springs with one shock forward of and one shock behind the rear axle) set-ups. The High Performance Premium Kit comes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors plus braided stainless steel hoses.

    Hi I am building a Trike with a 1990 Ford Thunderbird rear end it has hub brakes and I would love to put disk brakes on it without braking the bank. Will this kit work on it? The tag on the rear end says it is a S502B

    No, this kit will not work, that indicates that you have a 7.5" rear axle.

    Would this kit work with both shocks in front of axle? Shocks go from inside leaf spring mount to center of car. (I.e. 1962 ford falcon with narrowed 9 inch) shocks mounted in factory position
